Our Process
A step-by-step overview of the process we follow for each new water treatment project.

UNDERSTANDING THE CLIENT’S REQUIREMENTS
In order for IWP to advise on any water-related matter, it is imperative that we understand the issues surrounding the water source. Due to the geological and environmental influences, no one water source is alike, therefore the more detail we receive the better we are able to customise our recommendations. The main factors to consider are:

ORIGIN OF SOURCE
Borehole
River
Dam
Sea
Wastewater

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION
This can be of assistance to characterise similar sources in the area.

UNTREATED WATER QUALITY
An analysis of the water source is crucial!

PROCESS DESIGN
From the information gathered in the first stage, a process design is compiled, covering the mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and chemical requirements of the system. This assists IWP in ensuring an accurate quotation is included in the final proposal document.

QUOTATION
This document incorporates and outlines all the factors considered and excluded from the steps mentioned above. This gives the prospective client a rundown of the issues associated with the source, what IWP proposes to install and how this will be achieved.

FINAL DESIGN & MANUFACTURING
Should the client confirm their intention to move forward with project, IWP will commence with the final design of the system. Depending on the complexity of the project this will include, manufacturing, process, and instrumentation drawings along with procurement of components. IWP prides itself not only on the functionality of the system but the aesthetics too, all electrical and mechanical design and assembly is performed in-house. Systems are subjected to a variety of tests to ensure the functionality and integrity of the system before it leaves our workshop. Our systems come complete with a comprehensive operation and maintenance manual.

INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING
The installation of a water treatment system by IWP is not an once-off sale, but rather the beginning of a working relationship with our new client. We have a diverse client base, each with varying capabilities to operate and maintain their equipment. IWP offers tailored service -level agreements to all its customers based on their level of involvement with regards to the operation of the system.

AFTER SALES SERVICE
We offer after-sales services to ensure your systems are working optimally.
