Founded in 2006 as Water Purification Solutions, we are now Intechem Water Purification. We are committed to providing sustainable and tailored water treatment solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. As a leading water treatment company in Southern Africa, we have a team of fully qualified professionals who design, manufacture, and commission a wide variety of water treatment systems. From small systems processing 6m3/day to large-scale water treatment plants processing 2000m3/day, we deliver innovative, high-quality solutions for all water treatment problems.

Our Team

At Intechem Water Purification, our team is our greatest asset. Since our inception in 2006, we have grown from strength to strength, with a team of 34 highly skilled and ambitious employees covering mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, mechatronic engineering, and electrical engineering. With over 120 years of collective experience in the water treatment industry, we are renowned for our excellent knowledge and expertise.

Our Facilities

Located at our premises in Strand, Cape Town, our facilities include administration, stores, two large workshops, and a laboratory. Our facilities enable our team to conduct in-house bench testing and water treatment research, develop new technologies, and manufacture complete water treatment systems, big or small.

Our state-of-the-art laboratory is equipped with the latest technologies for water testing, enabling us to provide accurate and reliable results to our clients. We also conduct pilot studies in our laboratory to test new technologies and determine their effectiveness before implementing them on a larger scale.
